Wiimote G-Force Logger
June 1, 2008
I started some weeks ago playing with Wiimote programming, So i made this program to save accelerations coming from the wiimote.
This can be used for plenty of things like to test your car acceleration.
The program is really simple:
Connect your wiimote to you computer with BlueSoleil.
To start recording
ress the B button and you will see the data appear.
To stop recording: Press B again.
To analyse your data: You will need Microsoft Excel or Open office ( More program may work but i just tested them)
Press on the button “Copy data to clipboard”
Then just Paste the data on Excel.
With that you can make a graphic or make any calculs with that.
Here are some pictures:

This is the acceleration graphic when i throw the wiimote in the air.
When the acceleration is near 0 that means its in the air.
And here is the download:

Hi,I would like to download the GLogger zip file but failed, it seems that simpleupload probably not work on this file. Could you do me a favour and send it to my email? (chikiuso@gmail.com). Thanx a lot. It is a really useful program to serious developer.

Great utility! Thanks for creating it. I have a question, though. What rate is the data sampled at?
Cheers

Great utility! I have a question: when the delay interval is set 0, what the sampling rate ? In other words, what the maximum sampling rate ?
Thank you in advance!

Not sure, but I think sample rate is 100 records per second

Yesterday, while I was at work, my sister stole my iphone and tested to see if it can survive a forty foot drop, just so she can be a youtube sensation. My iPad is now broken and she has 83 views. I know this is completely off topic but I had to share it with someone!
